HAUGHTON – Dressed in their Sunday best and clutching self-decorated small coffee canisteLouisiana Baptist Builders and Georgia Barnette State Missions funding helped construct the Beulah Land worship center.rs, children at Beulah Land Baptist Church awaited their turn on the program.
It was time for the dedication of Beulah Land’s new church building. It was time for the members to give back as they had been given to, and the youngsters were there to help them.
“We’re just ordinary people serving an extraordinary God,” said Gene Gibson, pastor since the church was started in 2000 with seven people. It long ago outgrew its mobile facilities – many Sundays would find 100 or more people crowded into a space meant for 75.
