Three new churches were accepted into membership of the Louisiana Baptist Convention during the 2018 Annual Meeting were honored during a reception Nov. 12. The reception featured prayers for the churches, encouraging words from several speakers and a time of fellowship. Seating messengers for the first time during an annual meeting – the final step for LBC membership – were: Bethel Korean Baptist Church, Lafayette, Jongin Kim, pastor; Indian Village Community Church, Calhoun, Larry Walters, pastor; and Life Point Community Church, Mansura, Jacob Crawford, pastor.
