Charles T. Carter received a doctor of ministry
degree from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He is from
Kenner and Williams Boulevard church is his home church. He is a
graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.
Barry C. Joslin received a doctor of philosophy
degree from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He is from
DeRidder and his home church is First church. He is a graduate of
Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.
BOGALUSA – Jerry Breazeale, 72, died Sept. 10, 2005.
Breazeale pastored many churches in Louisiana and Mississippi. He
served as a seminary professor at New Orleans Theological Seminary for
1976 through 1990. Breazeale is survived by his wife, Connie Walker,
and two daughters.
BOGALUSA – Dorothy E. Emmons, 78, died Aug. 24,
2005. She was a retired Southern Baptist Missionary who served 34 years
in Kenya and Tanzania. Emmons received a BA degree from Mississippi
College and the Master of Religious Education degree from New Orleans
Theological Seminary. She is survived by three sisters.
