LCU holds spring revival March 7-9

March 2, 2023

PINEVILLE, La. (LCU News) — Heath Peloquin, senior pastor of Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport, will be the keynote speaker for Louisiana Christian University’s upcoming three-day Spring Revival.

Leading worship for the revival that runs March 7-9 at 11 a.m. daily in Guinn Auditorium will be LCU’s Voices and Elevate.

“We are prayerful the Holy Spirit uses Dr. Peloquin to sweep through every part of the campus and ignite a fire for Jesus like we’ve never experienced before,” said LCU President Rick Brewer.

“Dr. Peloquin spoke in chapel last semester in chapel, and the students responded to him very well,” said Nicholas Maricle, dean of Chapel. “I’m looking forward to having him on campus again and am praying students will be open to God’s message for them.”

Peloquin previously served as the director of missions for the North Texas Baptist Association, where he assisted 90 churches including 12 church plants in six languages. Prior to the NTBA, he was director of Church/Minister Relations for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention where he provided encouragement, mentoring and strategic planning for 2,600 ministers serving in churches of all sizes.

He has also served on the Executive Board of Trustees of the North American Mission Board as chairman of the West Region.
