Louisiana Christian to hold annual fall revival

PINEVILLE, La. (LCU News) – Louisiana Christian University will hold its annual fall campus revival Oct. 22–24 inside Guinn Auditorium.

Philip Robertson, lead pastor with Philadelphia Baptist Church in Deville since 1995, will speak from John 7 all three services, which begin at 11 a.m. LCU’s Elevate and Voices will perform, as well as a praise band of faculty and staff members.

Robertson holds a degree in pastoral ministries from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He was a member of the Louisiana Baptist Convention Executive Board (1997-2003), including two years as president of that board and two terms as president of the Louisiana Baptist Convention (2003-2005).

Robertson also has served on the Board of Trustees for NOBTS. Robertson continues to serve on committees and boards for his local association and for the Louisiana Baptist Convention. He currently serves as chair of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee.
