Jake (wife Karen) Roudkovski resigned in early July from First Baptist, Ponchatoula, for additional study at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Deaths
Carl Conrad died June 18 in Baytown, Texas. He was 96. Conrad served churches in Pine Prairie, Clearwater, Morgan City and New Orleans, and was a missionary to French-speaking people. He served as director of the Cooperative Missions department at the Louisiana Baptist Convention for 25 years. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Robert R. Wilson Jr., M.D., died July 6 in Shreveport. He was 83. Wilson, a deacon, Sunday school teacher and active member of First Baptist Shreveport, was a Louisiana College trustee for five years, served as a volunteer medical missionary with the SBC’s International Mission Board in Indonesia and India in 1986-87. Survivors include his wife, Mary, active at LC and in WMU at First Shreveport and statewide, plus three children and three grandchildren.
Lawrence Clegg died May 7 in Ponchatoula. He was 76. Clegg was director of missions in Chappapeela, Eastern Louisiana, La Tangi and St. Tammany Baptist Associations for 18 years, and before that was pastor for 19 years at First Baptist Ponchatoula. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy “Dot,” four children and 12 grandchildren.
