Pastor Wes Faulk, wearing a mask and gloves as precautionary measures, baptized Katie Anders during an online worship service at First Baptist Church in Vidalia on April 26 -- making it the second Sunday in a row that a new convert has stirred the baptistery waters at First Vidalia. Faulk said a new believer in the congregation is scheduled to be baptized each Sunday through at least Mother’s Day.
