CENLA Pregnancy Center Inc to host autumn awareness, community connections event

October 25, 2023

By Baptist Message staff

ALEXANDRIA, La. (LBM) – The CENLA Pregnancy Center Inc. will hold an Autumn Awareness and Community Connections event, Nov. 11.

Scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on the ministry’s parking lot at 1254 MacArthur Drive in Alexandria, the free event will feature a kids coloring contest (with prizes), face painting, a pumpkin photo station, a food demonstration, cotton candy, popcorn and more.

Executive Director Kim Lyons hopes many mothers and others from the area will come for a day of fun activities, community resources and a chance to learn more about the center’s three locations (Alexandria, Marksville and Vidalia).

“It will have a fall festival feel,” Lyons told the Baptist Message. “We are here to serve our community and want to encourage mothers and families to come out and really learn about all the many wonderful resources our community offers.”
