LCU Preview Day slated for Nov. 14

November 2, 2026

By Elizabeth Clarke, LCU News

PINEVILLE, La. (LCU News) – High school students and their families will have the opportunity to find out about what Louisiana Christian University has to offer prospective students at its Fall Preview Day, Nov. 14.

The event begins at 10 a.m. in Guinn Auditorium with a greeting from President Mark Johnson and his wife, Heather.

“Preview Day is more than an opportunity to visit our campus; it is an invitation to experience who we are, what we believe and where we are going,” Johnson said. “I am grateful for the outstanding leadership of our Executive Director of Enrollment Jana Lucky and her amazing team. Their tireless efforts, creativity, dedication and commitment to excellence have brought our campus community together to showcase the very best of our institution.”

Representatives from academic departments, the Honors Program and student organizations will be on hand to visit with students. Students may explore opportunities for athletics, ministry, music and international study programs.

Attendees will receive valuable information about scholarships and financial aid. Campus and dorm tours will be held.

Lunch will be provided for students. Other guests may purchase lunch for $10. Attendees will have their application fee waived.

Following Preview Day, each student and one guest will receive tickets to the LCU football game against Ottawa University (Arizona) at 2 p.m. in Wildcat Stadium.

“What makes us special is not simply our beautiful campus or academic programs, but the people who give of themselves to preparing the next generation of leaders,” Johnson said. “As we continue to Restore, Rebuild and Reimagine our university, we want every prospective student and family to experience a place where faith is strengthened, excellence is pursued, and relationships are built. We are not simply inviting students to see our campus. We are inviting them to see themselves as part of our future. We are building on 120 years of faith and preparing for an extraordinary future.”
