LCU to welcome Brittany Jones as first C3 speaker of fall semester

September 7, 2023

By Elizabeth Clarke, LCU News

PINEVILLE, La. (LCU News) – Understanding and combatting today’s “woke culture” will be the topic of Louisiana Christian University’s first Christ, Church, Culture event of the fall 2023 semester, Sept.11 at 6:30 p.m.

Brittany Jones, an attorney and 2014 graduate of LCU, will be the keynote speaker for the event. Jones earned her law degree from the Regent University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., and Kansas.

“We are pleased to host our alum Brittany Jones for her second C3 Seminar at LCU,” said LCU President Rick Brewer. “Brittany, a Smith Scholar graduate of LCU, now serves in a strategic role in Kansas protecting religious freedom for the citizens of Kansas. Jones will challenge and encourage our campus family with her insight and experience regarding cultural issues confronting religious organizations in the 21st century.“

The event inside Guinn Auditorium is free and open to the public.
