New Officers elected at annual meeting

The Executive Committee of the Louisiana Baptist Convention and messengers as the annual meeting elected new officers for the coming year.

Louisiana Baptist Convention for next year are (from left) Eddie Wren, president, pastor of First Baptist Church, Rayville; and Eddie Rhymes, second vice president, director of missions for Deer Creek Association. Not photographed is Leroy Fountain, first vice president, church health strategist for New Orleans Baptist Association. All three men were elected by acclamation.
