SBC Deaths
AUSTIN, Texas – J. A. Allen, 76, died Sept. 11. Allen, who was ordained
in 1952, served numerous churches in Louisiana and Texas. He was a founding
member of Missionary Baptist Tabernacle in Shreveport. Allen is survived by
his wife, Nora, and one daughter.
