Deadline - Register to vote in person, by mail, or at OMV Office: May 27.

Deadline - Register to vote via GeauxVote: June 6.

Early voting - June 12-20, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (excluding June 14, and June 19)

Deadline - Request absentee ballot: June 23, 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters).

Deadline - Registrar to receive voted absentee ballot: June 26, 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

Christ Church commissions Murrah to ministry

The men of Christ Church in Lafayette lay hands on Joel Murrah following his recent ordination to the Gospel Ministry. He is being commissioned to pioneer a new Celebrate Recovery ministry at the church. The ministry will start Sunday evening, October 7 at a time to be determined. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.
