LCU dedicates new MBA program

PINEVILLE, La. (LBM) – Louisiana Christian University faculty and staff and community members gathered Sept. 15 at Granberry Conference Center to dedicate the school’s new Jonathan E. Martin Master of Business Administration program. The MBA is the newest graduate degree offered in the Young School of Business at LCU. Martin, a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church, Alexandria, began his career in his family’s business in 1971 and remained with the business until his death in September 2019. During the time with the company, Martin served as chairman, CEO and past president.

Community leaders and LCU faculty gathered for the dedication of the school's Master's in Business Administration program Sept. 15, 2022.
Roy O. Martin III, chairman and CEO of RoyOMartin, said the MBA program at LCU will elevate individuals in central Louisiana to have more capacity to succeed.
Natalie Monroe said the legacy of her father, Jonathan E. Martin, lives on in his family, in the community, and in each student who will be impacted through LCU's MBA program. Monroe is vice president of environmental, safety and sustainability operations at RoyOMartin.
Maggie Martin, who was married to Jonathan E. Martin for 48 years, said her husband strived to empower others to be the best they possibly could be in life.
