The Ouachita Baptist Association mission team recently returned from its Ukraine mission trip. They ministered at two orphanages and in local villages with church services and small group services. They worked at the Friendship campground to prepare for the 1000 boys and girls who will attend the camp this summer.

First Baptist, Oakdale, Helping Hand Uniform Shoppe is in the process of opening its school uniform shop. The Missions and Youth Committees recently traveled to the Global Maritime Center at the Port of New Orleans where they ministered to seafarers and delivered items collected for the center.
The Honduras Mission teams of First Baptist, DeRidder recently completed three days of seeing 2,733 medical patients, 351 dental patients with 569 extractions. There were 13,508 prescriptions filled and 474 eyeglasses distributed. Shoes, dolls, caps, toys, cookies, clothes and bandanas were also distributed. Also treated were animals. The team also distributed 600 Bibles, 400 New Testaments and 5,000 tracts. There were 533 professions of faith.
The Nicaragua Missions Trip Team of Temple Baptist, Ruston collected reading glasses, antibiotics, multi-vitamins, pain relievers, topical medications, cold medicines and a number of other medications for infants, children and adults for their recent trip.
