Early voting - June 12-20, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (excluding June 14, and June 19)

Deadline - Request absentee ballot: June 23, 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters).

LCU to host Alumni Art Showcase

By LCU News PINEVILLE, La. (LCU News) - Louisiana Christian University will hold an Alumni Art Showcase, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m., featuring the work of 2012 graduate Alex Felter. The show will be a retrospective and reflection of the past year of Felter’s life. Felter is an award-winning artist who lives in Alexandria with his wife and two daughters. He and his wife, Lizzie, are very active in the community. “The show is my testimony and story of Jesus’ redemption and grace,” Felter said. Louisiana Christian Homecoming Week festivities set for Oct. 13-18

(LCU News) - Louisiana Christian University will hold its annual Homecoming and Spirit Week activities Oct. 13-18, culminating in the football game against Nelson University on the final day of the week at 6 p.m. and the crowning of the Homecoming queen during halftime. The following students make up this year’s Homecoming court: Senior Court Camille Allgood, history major, Denham Springs Lexi Broussard, exercise science: clinical wellness major, Maurice Claire Cullen, exercise science: clinical wellness major, Livingston Junior Court Journi Singleton, history major, Sulphur Eva Villamor, biological sciences and chemistry major, Ville Platte Sophomore Court Emily Marks, social work major, Rayne Jeri Vigé, applied biology and missions and ministries major, DeQuincy Freshman Court Riley Nickens, missions & ministries major, Baton Rouge Destanee Stewart, psychology major, Natchitoches Events scheduled for Homecoming Week include: Homecoming Chapel, Tuesday, 11 a.m. in Guinn Auditorium Homecoming Honey, Tuesday, 7 p.m. in the Game Room Miss LCU pageant, Thursday, 7 p.m. in Guinn Auditorium, $5 for students, $10 for … [Read more...]
