JONESBORO – After seeing the production last year of Last Chance: Heaven’s Gate or Hell’s Flames at First Baptist Haynesville where Shelby Cowling is pastor, Randy Lee, pastor of Ebenezer Jonesboro decided a similar evangelical crusade was in order here, said Tom Williams, minister of music and education at Ebenezer.
About 30 people were involved with the multi-media live drama June 24-26, Williams said.
“We had a great turnout,” he added. At least 18 made professions of faith and another 18 came forward for rededication, including some in a family visiting from Texas.
Ebenezer has visited those people who indicated they had no church affiliation and sent letters to appropriate churches for those who made decisions but were already associated with another church, Williams said.
